About Rev. Lewis

Rev. Jack Lewis, Jr. is a native of Georgetown, South Carolina. He is a humble and gifted servant of God whose desire is to continue doing the will of God with faithfulness, conviction, and love.

Rev. Lewis is a disabled veteran of the United States Army. His educational background includes studies at Tuskegee University, LR Nichols Theological Seminary, the University of Hawaii, El Paso Community College, and June Smith University in Georgia. He also received his high school diploma from Howard High School in Georgetown, South Carolina.

He has been married to his lovely wife, Pat, for 37 years. He is a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. For more than 44 years, Rev. Lewis has ministered in the Gospel field for Jesus Christ, bringing a wealth of spiritual and practical experience to the work of ministry.

St. Peter’s AME Church has been blessed by his leadership, wisdom, and commitment. He has helped strengthen teamwork and partnership within Christian communities throughout the Charleston and Colleton County areas.

Rev. Lewis loves working within the church and the surrounding community, proclaiming the Word of God and extending good deeds whenever possible. He preaches and teaches with power, conviction, and simplicity, without compromise.
